Account privacy
A clear account
of your information.
Your email identifies your account. The site records access to protected resources so Mark Nicolas can see who is using his educational content.
How you sign in
Enter your email address and verify it with a code sent to your inbox. The first successful verification creates your account. Codes expire after 10 minutes. No password is required. Your verified email identifies your independent Mark Nicolas Research account.
Resend delivers account verification emails. A secure session cookie keeps you signed in for up to seven days. Signing out ends that session.
What is recorded
Your account has an identifier, your verified email address. The site stores your first and most recent access times, protected page requests, and worksheet downloads.
Requests for the same protected page or worksheet within 30 minutes are grouped into one access record. These records show a request or download, not whether you read or completed the material.
Account security
Verification records, session details, and request limits help protect sign in. Session information may include an IP address and browser details. Verification codes are stored as hashes. Do not share your sign in code.
Applied Pharmacology learning work
This browser remembers your recent lesson, selected perspective, and practice case progress so you can return to your place. You can clear this device history in My learning. Account records and saved worksheets are managed separately on that page.
Searches and unsaved selections in this framework stay in the page. Its pages exclude site analytics. General framework access is recorded without medication selections, search terms, or detailed learning-page paths. Worksheet and medication-list saves require your explicit choice; module checks and assessments save learning progress when submitted.
Saved learning work is encrypted in account storage and can be deleted from My learning. Use fictional cases only and do not store identifiable clinical records. Exported PDFs remain wherever you save them. Hosting can retain ordinary request logs.
Your work and your choices
Access records do not contain worksheet answers, private reflections, or search terms. Your PDF responses remain in the file you save. Creating an account does not subscribe you to email updates.
Only the site owner can view the visitor access dashboard. For questions about your records or to request their removal, use the contact page.
