This website presents research, educational writing, commentary, and developing applied work by Mark Nicolas. Visitors may access and read its public content. Publicly offered materials may be used for lawful personal, noncommercial purposes unless the resource states different terms. Where a separate license applies, that license governs the material it covers.
The website provides general information, not individualized medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or professional services. Authorship and the limits of these terms
Except where otherwise indicated, Mark Nicolas reserves rights in his original protected expression, including writing, educational materials, stories, worksheets, illustrations, and program content. Other creators, collaborators, institutions, and publishers retain their applicable rights. A photograph of Mark does not, by itself, establish that Mark owns its copyright.
Copyright does not give ownership of ideas, scientific facts, discoveries, principles, methods, systems, or procedures themselves. You may learn from and discuss ideas here, conduct related research, and independently develop your own work. These terms distinguish those activities from copying protected expression.
Personal use and lawful quotation
Free access does not put a work into the public domain or automatically authorize commercial reuse. You may read, link to, cite, and use publicly offered materials personally as described above. Ownership remains with the applicable rights holder.
Nothing in these terms limits fair use or other rights and exceptions available under applicable law. Quotation, commentary, criticism, scholarship, teaching, and research are subject to that law; no fixed word count or percentage is a universal permission. Give appropriate attribution when citing work. Citation alone does not authorize reproducing an entire work.
Uses requiring permission
Unless a separate license or applicable law permits the use, written permission is required to:
- Republish, resell, commercially redistribute, or license protected site content.
- Repackage protected materials into another product or service, sell copies of worksheets, modules, stories, or graphics, or place substantial portions behind another person's paywall.
- Substantially reproduce protected writing or visual material, including through systematic scraping for republication or bulk downloading for commercial redistribution.
- Adapt protected written, visual, educational, or program content for commercial use or create a competing product through direct copying or close reproduction of protected expression.
- Use downloaded material as a commercial content library.
- Remove copyright or authorship notices from copies where doing so is not permitted by law or the applicable license, or present another person's work as your own.
These restrictions concern protected content, not ownership of general concepts, ordinary words, or independently created work.
Automated collection
Automated collection, scraping, bulk extraction, or ingestion of this site's original content for the purpose of building commercial datasets, training machine-learning systems, creating derivative commercial content libraries, or redistributing substantial portions of the site is not authorized without written permission, except where otherwise permitted by law or an applicable license.
Ordinary reading, authorized personal use, citation, linking, and normal search indexing are not prohibited by this reservation. Crawler preferences are technical signals; they neither create copyright nor guarantee compliance.

WARPATH™ identifies Mark Nicolas’ program and associated body of work. The symbol asserts use as a trademark; it does not represent federal registration. Rights in third-party names and logos belong to their respective holders. Their inclusion as resources does not imply endorsement or affiliation.

For reproduction, teaching copies, figure reprints, article republication, worksheet or WARPATH use beyond the permissions above, licensing, or commercial use, contact contact@marknicolasresearch.com. Identify the material and proposed use. A request or acknowledgment does not grant permission. Permission must be expressly confirmed in writing by the appropriate rights holder.
Publisher articles, third-party documents, jointly authored work, institutional materials, and separately licensed content remain subject to their own rights and terms. Mark cannot grant rights he does not hold. Links to external resources are provided for reference; those sites operate under their own terms.
