Before Competence Comes Fitness
The 50 criteria describe capacities a practitioner develops. This precursor addresses suitability to enter the learning environment, progression toward responsibility, and the practitioner’s present fitness when responsibility is assumed. Begin with the developmental pathway, then use the reflection and supervision tools as responsibility grows.

Competence across the course of care
The framework organizes facilitation around the work a practitioner performs, from screening and preparation to integration, referral, and record keeping. Each criterion has its own chapter with teaching material, practical exercises, and references.
